Simple.
A human suffers.
He suffers disappointment.
He suffers confusion.
He suffers heartache.
He suffers conflict.
He suffers in innumerable ways.
He does not want to suffer.
Because he does not want to suffer, he turns to spirituality.
Because he does not want to suffer, he turns to self-help.
Because he does not want to suffer, he turns to all manner of methodologies and techniques.
In turning to these things, he adds more things to do.
He already had enough things to do.
But now he has more.
More to practice.
More to remember.
More to believe in.
More to follow.
In this way, he makes his life more complex than it was.
He adds more weight to his life.
This creates more chases.
These chases are added to the chases he came in with.
Why?
It is unlikely that he has an answer to this question.
If a person wants complexity, then this makes sense.
If a person does not mind suffering, that is also fine.
But IF a human seeks to live a life without suffering, then it would make sense to pursue That which can end his suffering.
Rather than choosing that which adds complexities.
Why does he not do this.
If he does not want to suffer, why does he not pursue That which can bring an end to his suffering.
Namaste.
