Teaching Teaching Everywhere
Sally’s teacher taught her that X leads to Y.
So she puts up a shingle and teaches others that X leads to Y.
Gary’s teacher taught him that X is a good practice.
So he puts up a shingle and teaches others that X is a good practice.
A teacher lets one of his teacher assistants “teach today’s class.”
A spiritual teacher allows one’s of his students to teach the group that “they should be compassionate to others.”
If Sally, Gary, the teacher’s assistant, and the spiritual student are placed in a room and asked,
Do you know For a Fact . . . that X leads to Y?
Do you know For a Fact . . . that X practice leads anywhere?
You are teaching the class “to be compassionate to others.” Are YOU YOURSELF compassionate to others?
Teaching others is another common fad. No one knows what they are teaching, why they are teaching, what really works, and what does not.
Sally, Gary, and all of the rest of them gained a piece of information. They view this piece of information that they can sell to others.
There is no problem in monetizing something. Have at it. More power to them.
But of what value and genuine-ness and authenticity is this “piece of information?”
If one is simply passing on what he learned from his or her teacher, does this make them a “teacher?”
Or a Distributor.
Someone’s else’s knowledge is Not one’s own. Someone else’s knowledge is a used pair of socks. To load a sack with used pairs of socks and take them to the open market makes one a Used-Socks-Merchant. Nothing more.
First spend half of your life Verifying, Testing, Evaluating, Analyzing, Negating . . . to see if there is something of Greatness there. If there is not, there is not. If there is, there is.
But in either case, this makes one an honest and valuable possessor of information. Even knowing that it does not work, is a huge value.
Humans are superficial creatures. Thus, all that they do can only be Superficial.
Everywhere, on every corner of the world, are so-called teachers doing endless “teaching.”
Make sure you eat that. Don’t eat the other.
This gives you cancer. That other thing makes you more robust.
Practicing this gives this. Not practicing that gives you this.
Blah, blah. Bloo, bloo. Hack this. Hack that. Best practices this. Best practices that.
First principles this. First principles that.
Mental model this. Mental model that.
Take your index finger, and your thumb, and press your mouth shut, until you have enough respectability to STOP TEACHING.
These are all a bunch of idiots. They are stupid. They are imbeciles. Any sane, serious, and sincere individual would avoid them like the plague.
They are idiots, stupid, and imbeciles because they are More Interested in the DISPENSATION of information, than they are in the Verity of it.
They are more interested in POOLING OTHERS, rather than in the Quality of their claims.
They are more interested in TALKING, than they are in Invesigating.
They are more interested in PARROTING, than they are in Verifying.
There are no Teachers. There are only Dispensers.
He who has True, Original, Rarefied, and Effective Knowledge rarely has the desire to “teach others” day and night.
The World is built upon Propaganda.
It is a flea market.
It is a tabloid.
Humans teach others that which does not work.
Thus, all become “experts” in throwaway nonsense.
Namaste.
