Boilerplate
If a man has but a small amount of discernment
He can investigate and observe
What is being said in the world.
From podcasts
To books
To media
To guru’s
To lectures
To “mastermind meetings”
Anything and everything . . .
With his properly functioning brain
He can examine
What is being said in the world.
He can examine
What is Available in the world.
It requires no great leap of imagination
That it will not take long for him to recognize
That all that is available in the world
Is Boilerplate.
At the bottom of every prospectus,
In the fine print of every medication,
In the small print of any brochure,
There is Boilerplate verbiage.
The entire world,
It does not take a genius to recognize,
Consists only of Boilerplate.
An “expert” is invited on a podcast.
He is asked various fluffy questions.
The expert provides various fluffy answers.
Things such as how he has been doing,
What the weather in his part of the world is like,
And various small talk and chatter is given air time.
The expert gives his talking points
Which have been rehearsed prior to coming on.
And if they have not been rehearsed intentionally
He has given the speech a million times before
At various lanyard-clad conferences.
He says that you should do this and that.
The host says it is difficult to do this and that.
The expert says you must persevere.
The host tells a self-deprecating joke as to how difficult it is to persevere . . .
Jokes and entertainment
Are the undercurrent of the entire conversation.
In fact,
If there is more than one host,
There will be an increased number of jokes.
Because there is a compulsion
To fill the white noise.
Because there is a compulsion
To “entertain.’
After all,
The audience has “tuned in.”
And the more that “tune in”
The more will “push the button”
To “like and subscribe.”
Why is a book
300, 400, 500 pages?
The reason is
Because of Boilerplate.
The author must provide charts,
Or activities.
Or tell his success stories with clients.
The story of Sally M
Who did the prescribed method
And became full of glee and is now living happily ever after.
Everyone is saying
The same thing.
Because everyone
Is salivatingly enslaved
To the masses.
They want the largest possible audience.
They want the most “likes and subscribes.”
So that they may send their “newsletters”
To the widest possible audience.
There is no problem
In having a subscription
Or making money
Or saying anything whatsoever.
One may do
As he pleases.
But what exactly is
A “newsletter?”
News about what?
About the latest products
One wishes to peddle?
There is nothing wrong
With peddling a product.
But the product
Is more Boilerplate.
Prescription, prescription, prescription.
Joke, joke, joke.
Platitude, platitude, platitude.
This is all
That is available
In the World.
There is nothing Real
Anywhere in this fabricated society.
Nowhere.
Why are there thousands
Of podcasts?
Why are there millions
Of books?
Because there are millions
To entertain.
There are millions
To beg for “likes and subscribes.”
One is free to have a podcast.
One is free to write a book.
One is free
To do anything and everything he wishes to do.
But if it is Boilerplate
Has he really “done” anything at all?
How long does the joke-induced smile last?
How long does the drivel remain inside someone?
Nonsense and drivel
Has only the Effect of conditioning.
It does not
And cannot
Have the effect of Transformation.
Boilerplate
Is legalese.
Boilerplate
Is redundant and uninspiring fine print.
Boilerplate
Is throw-away journals.
Boilerplate
Is trite, worn, and toothless cliches.
Boilerplate
Is filling air time
With sounds and noise.
Blah, blah, blah.
Yap, yap, yap.
Hooray, hooray, hooray.
Ha, ha, ha.
Hee, hee, hee.
The books of the world
Are but letters to fill empty pages.
And once the pages are filled
They become more empty
Because of the Boilerplate that filled them.
The podcasts and media of the world
Are but sounds to fill the quiet of airwaves.
All things in this world
Are but Filler.
Nature does not abhor a vacuum.
Humans do.
They fill the vacuum
With words and sounds.
Like street noise.
And the sound of a garbage truck
Tossing a trash can.
All in this world
Is noise.
All in this world
Is Boilerplate.
And for he who seeks something Real
Or Transformational . . .
For he who seeks
Something more than Entertainment . . .
The world
Has nothing to offer him.
Namaste.
