From The Mountain Top

On the mountain top

Life becomes easy.

Because illusions

Have been removed.

Chases

Have come to an end.

Struggles

Have ceased.

Prescriptions

In all their forms

Have been recognized for what they are.

Traps

Are easily avoided.

Happiness

And all such things

May stay

Or come and go,

But they do not matter.

For the mountain top

Is not reached

By chasing “happiness.”

There is a . . .

Settlement of all things.

Like a thing

Having found

Its natural home.

Stability

In all its forms.

Truth

Brimming to the surface.

A life that has exploded

Into what is Real

And wholly Natural.

The total absence

Of all concepts,

Of all principles,

Of all notions,

Of all ideals,

Of all chases.

Truth

Seen directly.

Life

As it was meant for a human

To live.

Namaste.
